Admitedly, the following images are not of a donkey.  They are, however, of the same equus family (just not of the asinus variety).  But it occurs to me that if you forget to carve the pumpkin as shown in “tis the season - Halloween” post, there is a recovery plan.  Go buy a horse and dress it up as shown below.  Bring it home to your kids.  They will completely forget the silly pumpkin and you will be a hero.  For ideas on how to dress the horse for Halloween, here you go…
